Mr. White was born in Roanoke, Virginia on February 21, 1951.
He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1973 at the University of Richmond, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1976 from the T. C. Williams School of Law, University of Richmond.
Mr. White was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1976, and is qualified to practice in both Virginia and U.S. District Courts. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and focuses his practice on Mineral Law, Mining Law, Real Estate, Wills, Corporate Law, Elder Law, and Real Estate Settlements.
He is a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church where he is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees and serves on various church committees.
Mr. White is active in the community, having served as President of both the Tazewell Lions Club and the Tazewell Kiwanas Club.
